Description The Optional Jet Attachment Investigation F100F duct has beendesigned for operation with the Airflow System F100. The ductallows students to investigate the phenomenon of jet attachment to anadjacent wall and the so called Coanda effect. A rectangular slit directsan air jet towards a Y shaped duct with two outlet passages. The shapeof the duct may be changed by tilting and sliding moveable elements. By blowing air from one side or another at the jet the airflow can bedirected down either of the Y shaped passages as in a pneumatic flip-flop.
